Team Encore

Hello from Lindsey, trainer at LP Dressage! I have been around horses my entire life, and doing dressage for almost 20 years. My interest, frustration, passion, and curiosity for saddles began at a young age with my Welsh Cob, McDuff. I believe in one year I bought and sold almost 10 saddles for him! Years and tons of horses later, I was still running into so many frustrations between functionality, support, fit to the horse, and fit for the rider. After moving to Texas in 2021, I met Jacquie and began consulting with her as a saddle fitter. In 2025, we really began collaborating on ideas and developing a language of feel versus vision, and jokingly, Jacquie decided I have a very educated tush- perfect for describing what and where things are lacking or too much.
Between her saddle fitting and engineering expertise, and my feel and finesse in the saddle, Encore Equestrian came to light. Jacquie is now training me how to flock and fit, on top of working together to thoughtfully curate your next favorite saddle!
Jacquie here! With a career in engineering and a focus on ergonomics, I've spent much of my professional life exploring the relationship between design, movement, and comfort. For more than 50 years though, my greatest teacher has always been the horse. As a lifelong equestrian, I have competed through Prix St Georges, and continue to ride and show today. My experience in the saddle, combined with an engineer's appreciation for precision and function, has shaped the philosophy behind Encore Equestrian: exceptional design should enhance the connection between horse and rider. Every detail is thoughtfully considered with that connection in mind- elegance, performance, comfort, and design; all of it without compromise.
